Colors Of My Life: Book Review: Arjuna – Saga of the Pandava Warrior ...

The highlight of the book is the fact that the author has done her fair share of research which you see in small stories and details that have never been highlighted in the various version of Mahabharata that get included in school curriculum or the ones that get telecasted on the television. These details and stories push you to keep turning the pages and keep discovering new things about the great warrior who was part of the great war of Kurukshetra. Also the fact that the author included stories that highlight the fact that characters of Mahabharata  were flawed like any other human being was quite interesting.

Hi Anuja,
I very much enjoyed reading your book Arjuna and have posted a detailed review here:
http://goanand.com/blog/?p=1430

The book was so engrossing that I read it, while travelling in crowded, sweltering Mumbai local trains during my daily commute and did not disappoint. The minute details, the circumstances, the complex feelings, that you have presented in the book are a rarity and probably have never been compiled in such a readable manner (barring the original epic, I guess).

Thanks for the great work and looking forward to more books from you!

Hii Anuja,
Read your book Arjuna.
Your narrative style is good however there was something more which I was expecting as reader-exclusive details about the Pandava Prince. Everything was already known detail in your book especially after reading Devdutt Patnaik and Chithra Divkaruni (Jaya and Palace of Illusions respectively). It was like a retelling of the Mahabharatha. Curious to read your second book on Kamadeva. Unusual choice of subject ! ALl the best.
